Assembly
NOTE: When wrapping floral tape, it helps to "twirl" the stem as you guide the floral tape between your thumb and index finger.
For each rose, fold a stem wire in half. Use plyers to crimp the fold tight. Fold both ends over 1/2" and crimp tight.
Push both ends up through the green rose base. Wrap floral tape tightly around the base and down over the stem for a distance of anywhere between 1-1/2 to 3 inches. (NOTE: By varying the distance, the leaves won't be at the same exact height on all the stems.)
Still wrapping, and with the right side of a leaf facing the stem, position the leaf against the stem so you can wrap the floral tape around the bottom 1/2" of the leaf and secure it snuggly to the stem.
Continue wrapping floral tape all the way down the rest of the stem, including the tails of yarn. (If a tail is longer than the stem, trim it off.)
When you reach the bottom of the stem, start back up again for about 1 to 1-1/2 inches. Cut the floral tape off and twist the end tight against the stem to secure.
